The cost of playing AAU basketball is significantly higher than that of playing winter league. The club will incur costs related to tournament fees, gym rental fees, AAU membership fees for the team, players and coaches, insurance fees (through the AAU), corporate fees, business license fees, communication fees, players' and coaches' uniforms, players' warm-up suits, consultant's fees for yearly non-profit documentation, and others.
Membership fees are shared equally amongst all the players and are payable in full prior to the start of the season. The membership fees will vary from season to season, but are approximately $500 per season. Only players in good standing (having paid their membership fees) will be put onto the team roster or played. Players who are delinquent in their membership fees could be replaced and lose their spot on the team for the season. Sponsorship is available for less affluent families, please contact the team managers for information. Starting April 1, 2008 $60 a month for club fees will be due each month after that until the season is over. There may be funds left over after each season. If that is the case, the funds will be carried forward into the next season.

Additional Costs
Travel expenses, gasoline, food and possibly lodging expenses will be required for out-of-town tournaments and are not included in the team fees. In most cases we will attempt to car pool and share lodging expenses to minimize these costs.
Sponsors and Donations
It is our intent to seek sponsors and corporate/individual donations to fund our operations. Eventually, we would like to be 100% funded by donations so the program is free to our players.
In order to encourage the pursuit of sponsorships and donations, we will reduce the membership fee by 50% of the dollar amount of donations a player's family generates.
